homō sapiēns – The Latin noun homō (genitive hominis) means “human being”, while the participle sapiēns means “discerning, wise, sensible”.
In order to live meaningful lives, we must understand our past, present and make necessary adjustments for the future generations.
What really makes us Human? What is our history? What are the building blocks of humanity?
Adrian and I are exploring these concepts through a series of sculptural, photography and video pieces that tackle various themes on humanity.
These include: understanding the ego, studying the connection between our psychology and environment, studying our history, finding solutions to contemporary issues, exploring and appreciating our ecosystem.
